What is your international returns policy?

My dresses are very reasonably priced, for dresses that are cut on the body. I am what I am. Before I was not so proud to make fashion. My family thought fashion wasn’t very interesting. So I hid that. What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today when human contacts go so fast. Fashion is instant language. First I made a dress because I was pregnant and I wanted to be the most beautiful pregnant woman. Then I made a sweater because I wanted to have one that wasn’t like anyone else’s. My job is to bring out in people what they wouldn’t dare do themselves.

How can I find your international delivery policy?

Fashion can be this mysterious thing that you can’t explain. My learning process is by eye alone; it’s not at all scientific. Fashion is about dressing according to what’s fashionable. Style is more about being yourself. The great thing about fashion is that it always looks forward. I don’t try to be in fashion; I don’t try to follow trends. You just end up out of fashion that way.

What should I do if my order hasn’t been delivered yet?

When I was young, I lived like an old woman, and when I got old, I had to live like a young person. It’s really easy to get colors right. It’s really hard to get black – and neutrals – right. Black is certainly a color but it’s also an illusion. First I made a dress because I was pregnant and I wanted to be the most beautiful pregnant woman. Then I made a sweater because I wanted to have one that wasn’t like anyone else’s. I don’t like trends. They tend to make everybody look the same. For me, the summer will be pure gray – mother-of-pearl gray, very pale gray. To me, this is the big statement for summer. Then we have light blue, light turquoise, lots of pink.

How can I get a new returns note?

For me, art is about learning and about living with people. It’s alive. It’s useless to send models out on the runway to cry. I love to design things that people can actually buy. I’m staggered by what a boot costs today. Even Michelangelo got paid for doing the Sistine Chapel. To those artists who say they’re doing it for the love of art, I say: Get real. I have my permanent muses and my muses of the moment.

I’m an international customer, have you received my returned items?

I don’t like trends. They tend to make everybody look the same. Don’t dress to kill, dress to survive. I love things that age well – things that don’t date, that stand the test of time and that become living examples of the absolute best. Fashion fosters cliches of beauty, but I want to tear them apart. You’re only as good as your last collection, which is an enormous pressure.
